Spiritual
Through our Spiritual Services program, COC works with people with disabilities to experience the joy of knowing that they are of value to God.
Our staff members regularly demonstrate their Christian values through their daily interactions with the people we support. Opportunities for devotion and prayer are a regular part of the lives of both our staff people and the people we support.
Our Spiritual Services Facilitator
Our Spiritual Services Facilitator is available to meet with people and offer guidance and comfort in times of crisis and personal needs. The facilitator encourages church attendance, leads Bible studies at COC, and helps organize holiday celebrations. In addition, the facilitator provides guidance to the various Friendship Ministries Bible Study groups. These Bible studies are carried out in local churches, and offer times of fellowship, learning, and participation in the church. Participation is voluntary.
Spiritual Retreats
These retreats, for staff and people with special needs supported by COC, provide opportunities for spiritual renewal and growth at a retreat center away from COC. Again, participation is voluntary.
